"Excellent ferry service to Waiheke Island. It leaves from Pier Two on the Auckland waterfront every 30 minutes and takes about 35 - 40 minutes to get to Waiheke. It costs $42 for a return ticket. Gold card holders go free off-peak. The boats themselves are large and spacious with comfy seating. They have both upstairs and downstairs areas. Most of the seating is indoors, but there is plent of space to stand outside in the deck to get photos of all the great views during your trip. The crew were professional, welcoming and helpful. This was a great adventure, my only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner. Highly recommended."
"Very busy today. They couldn't fit us on the 10:30 even though we arrived early. Squeezed is onto the 11:00am. Smooth journey but still arrived a little late."
