Welcome to Poppies Preschool Gardiners Road, a family-run establishment owned by Richard and Jeanette Allison. Situated in beautiful character villas with spacious natural playgrounds, our preschool is located at two convenient locations in Christchurch: 61 St Martins Road and 344 Gardiners Road. Additionally, we also offer childcare services in Rangiora at Peppertree and Little Peppertree Preschools.
At Poppies Preschool Gardiners Road, we understand the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child's early years. Our preschool is divided into three separate inside and outside areas to cater to the specific needs of different age groups. Our Nurseries are designed for children from birth to two years, the Preschool Room is tailored for two to approximately three-year-olds, and the Prepschool is dedicated to older children.
One of the things that sets us apart is our commitment to maintaining excellent teacher-child ratios. We exceed the Ministry of Education requirements to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they deserve. This allows us to deliver a high-quality programme that focuses on the holistic development of your child.
Our programme strikes a perfect balance between free play and structured activities, thanks to our hardworking and dedicated staff. We believe in providing children with opportunities to explore and discover their world through hands-on experiences. Our educators foster a love for learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.
