Welcome to Inspired Lives School of Self-Defence, located in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. As an establishment dedicated to health and self-improvement, we are a point of interest for individuals seeking to enhance their self-defence skills.
At Inspired Lives School of Self-Defence, our mission is to provide a practical self-defence system that caters to individuals of all sizes, strengths, confidence levels, and abilities. We achieve this by combining the most effective elements from various styles, ensuring that our students gain a comprehensive understanding of self-defence.
Our training is open to individuals aged 13 and above, with no upper limit. The core of our self-defence approach is Wing Chun kung fu, taught under the expert guidance of Sifu Dana Wong. However, we also draw upon modern striking techniques such as TKD, Zen Do Kai karate, and kickboxing, as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and VSCK Eskrima taught by Guro Mario Fernandez Quiroz.
We pride ourselves on creating a challenging yet supportive training experience. Our instructors treat everyone with respect and dignity, fostering an environment where students are encouraged to push past their self-imposed limits and reach their full potential. We believe that through our training, individuals can live more inspired lives.
