Our curriculum is diverse and engaging. For example, our Year 8 students have been studying the genre of Gothic Horror in English. They explore the features, characters, and settings of gothic horror, research the life and times of Mary Shelley, and delve into the play 'Frankenstein' adapted by Philip.

We also prioritize hands-on learning experiences. Our Year 8 students have been learning about the importance of water, both in New Zealand and overseas. As part of their learning, they conduct Waicare water quality tests for the stream near our school, allowing them to assess water quality in a practical and tangible way.

In times of inclement weather, we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. In the event of flooding or disruptive weather conditions, we may need to close the school temporarily. However, we always communicate any closures or changes to our community promptly.

Furthermore, we are dedicated to supporting our students beyond the classroom. We proudly support KidsLink, a platform that helps parents find local professional help for children and young people. We believe in providing a holistic education that addresses the needs of the whole child.

We also offer private Cambridge education, ensuring our students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for future success. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our students' achievements, such as our Year 13 leavers, 97% of whom gained New Zealand University Entrance.
