He has a strong background in molecular genetics and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1991. Dr. Dean, another skilled veterinarian in our team, brings with him a wealth of experience from his work in various countries such as Hong Kong, Scotland, El Salvador, and Thailand.

At Healthy Pets Veterinary Clinic, we understand the importance of preventive care for your pets. We strongly recommend deworming puppies and kittens at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, followed by regular deworming every 3 months. Vaccination is also crucial for the health of your pets, and we offer vaccination services for puppies and kittens between 6 to 8 weeks and again at 10 to 12 weeks of age, with annual boosters. We also provide titre testing, a method to assess your pet's immunity levels, and our knowledgeable staff is always available to discuss your pet's specific needs.

Our journey began in 1998 as a small, single vet practice located in the bush just outside Castlemaine. Over the years, we have grown and expanded, relocating to our current purpose-built premises at 9 Elizabeth Street. With a team of 4 veterinarians, 6 nurses, 2 client care receptionists, 2 co-practice managers, and a groomer, we are able to provide comprehensive care for pets of all shapes and sizes.
