Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Wendouree, located on Howitt Street in Ballarat, Australia. Our establishment is not just a school, but a point of interest and a place for children to learn and grow.

At Goodstart, we understand the importance of early childhood education, and we strive to provide a personalized childcare experience for each child. Our center opened its doors in February 1996 and has been catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years ever since. We also offer a funded kindergarten program for children aged 4 to 5 years.

One of the things that sets us apart is our dedicated and experienced team of educators. Most of our educators have been with us for more than six years, allowing us to build strong relationships with families and provide a stable environment for the children in our care. Our team includes a Bachelor qualified Kindergarten teacher, 6 Diploma qualified educators, and 3 educators currently studying towards their Diploma. All our assistant educators hold their Cert III qualifications.

We take pride in creating a homely and stimulating environment for our children. Inside our center, each room is set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, offering sensory and play-based learning opportunities. Our colorful and engaging surroundings ensure that children have the chance to grow and develop through play, preparing them for their transition to school.

Outside, we have age-appropriate play spaces and equipment that enhance children's awareness of their surroundings and the importance of sustainability. Our play area is packed with fun, including sandpits, cubbyhouses, a stage area, a mud pit, a vegetable patch, a worm farm, and plenty of shaded space. Children are encouraged to use their imagination by adding to our fairy garden and caring for our animals.

We understand the importance of nutrition, and all our meals are prepared on-site by our qualified cook using fresh and nutritious ingredients. We believe that well-fed tummies lead to happy and engaged learners.

Community involvement is another major focus for us. We believe that working with the broader community enriches children's learning experiences. Through visits to the center, excursions, and participation in community events, we deepen the relationship between the center and the community while teaching children about being active members of society.
