Dr Wearne, the founder of Wearne P.W, is a highly esteemed pediatrician with an impressive background. A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Dr Wearne has received training in Perth as well as international experience in Toronto and New York. He has also completed a Fellowship at the prestigious Royal Children's and Royal Women's Hospitals in Melbourne.

With over thirty years of experience in Bendigo, Dr Wearne has established himself as a trusted Neonatal Paediatrician. In addition to his pediatric practice, he has also trained as a forensic physician, showcasing his diverse expertise. Dr Wearne's interests span across general, neonatal, developmental, behavioural, and forensic pediatrics.

Dr Wearne's dedication to the field of pediatrics is evident through his involvement in various organizations. He has been a member of the Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity for the past thirteen years. Additionally, he served as the Director of Paediatrics and Child Health for the Monash University Regional Clinical School until his retirement in 2019. However, Dr Wearne continues to contribute to the field as a lecturer.
