When it comes to wine, we have enlisted the expertise of Paul Ghaie, a former Ballarat local and owner of the renowned "Blackhearts & Sparrows" boutique wine stores across Australia. With the input of local winemaker and sommelier Troy Walsh, our wine list showcases the finest natural and regionally sourced wines.
For those on the go, we offer the convenience of pre-ordering your favorite St Ali. coffee or Grounded Pleasures hot chocolate through Skip. This allows you to skip the queue and enjoy your drink on the move. We also offer delicious takeaway breakfast options alongside our regular Lola favorites.
If you prefer to dine in, we have implemented social distancing measures to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. You can either pick up your order from our social distancing window on Lydiard Street or come inside and enjoy our welcoming space. "We had a wonderful dinner at Lola. The staff were excellent. We had a cozy and comfortable table set beautifully and the whole restaurant had a calming and relaxing vibe. The food was outstanding and a good amount of time was provided between courses so it wasn’t rushed and we could enjoy the overall experience. "Went here when we were at our anniversary weekend. The venue was great and amazing vibe too. The service was great as well. Now to the food, it’s good but not that great, the chicken liver pate missed a sweet element and the broccoli was charred and the fish of the day lacked salt and seasonings. So as I said the menu was good but the execution of the food was a bit of a let off, just a little bit more polishing and it will be up there. Over all good."
