Dogs have access to outside exercise areas, allowing them to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air. Cats, on the other hand, have access to play equipment that keeps them entertained and stimulated.
To ensure a warm and safe environment, we provide fresh linen for all the animals in our care. We also understand the importance of a nutritious diet, which is why we offer high-quality food for daily feeds.
In addition to providing a nurturing environment, the City of South Perth Animal Care Facility also offers an advisory service for owners of dangerous pets or those that are no longer safe in the community. Our team is here to provide guidance and support to ensure the safety of both the pets and the community.
If your dog or cat has been impounded, please note that there are fees associated with their release. These fees cover the cost of their care and upkeep during their stay with us. Additionally, if your pet is not microchipped, it is a requirement that they be microchipped prior to release. Similarly, if your pet is not registered, we ask that you register them before their release. Proof of registration is necessary if your pet is already registered.
We are proud to share our Animal Care Facility with the City of Perth, Town of Victoria Park, City of Vincent, City of Canning, City of Gosnells, Town of Bassendean, and Town of East Fremantle. This collaboration allows us to pool our resources and expertise to better serve our communities and their beloved pets.
