About the Business
Welcome to Indie School Launceston, located at 93 Paterson Street in the beautiful city of Launceston, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a unique and flexible learning experience for students in years 9 to 12.
Since our opening in March 2022, Indie School Launceston has grown significantly, now boasting nearly 90 enrolled students. Our independent approach to education allows students to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
In addition to Indie School Launceston, we also have three other campuses: Indie School Glenorchy, Indie School Kingston, and Indie School Sorell. These campuses will be offering a 6 Week Term Program in both 2023 and 2024, providing even more opportunities for students to engage in our innovative learning methods.
At Indie School Launceston, students in years 9 and 10 engage with the Australian Curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded education that meets national standards. For students in years 11 and 12, our focus shifts towards the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE), preparing them for their future endeavors.
We are proud to offer Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Schools, allowing our students to gain practical skills in specific industries while still completing their high school certificate. Our VET programs have been successfully delivered for over a decade, and are taught by experienced practitioners who have firsthand knowledge of the industry.

With our flexible learning approach, dedicated staff, and industry-aligned curriculum, we aim to empower our students to become lifelong learners and confident individuals.
