"What started as a good experience has now turned sour. Took my car to them to have the A/C system checked as was not blowing cold air. After about an hour and a half I got a phone call to say that the compressor was cooked and required replacement for about $1800. Was the middle of winter so decided to take it home and check my options. Wasn’t charged for the checks which I thought at the time was awesome. Once home I checked the compressor operation myself as I was told they checked the 12V all the way to the unit and it was fine but the compressor was not responding. When I checked it there was no issue and the compressor was engaging as expected. Took my car to another place in Mandurah to be told it’s only a faulty TX valve with a total repair cost of $450, exactly 1/4 of what they planned to charge me. Have since heard similar stories from friends about this place doing this regularly to make some extra money on there work. My advice would be to question and check what this place tells you if you plan on using there services. I certainly won’t be again."

"Took my car in for a brake caliper repair, got the car back with seized shock absorbers. Whilst not necessarily their fault, Kevin was happy to help rectify the problem. I supplied the parts and Auto Masters installed for free. Very happy with this outcome (obviously annoyed the parts failed though) and will definitely return. Will recommend Auto Masters to anyone.
