About the Business
Welcome to The King's College, a co-educational K-12 Christian School located in the beautiful suburb of Wellard, Australia. Situated on a spacious green campus, our institution provides a safe and nurturing environment for your child to grow and learn.
At The King's College, every single student is known, respected, and given the opportunity to flourish. Our strong vision for the future is to inspire your child to live a meaningful life of courage, integrity, and generosity.
Exciting things are happening at our institution, as we are thrilled to announce the commencement of work for our new primary school, set to open in early 2024. This innovative design will include various areas that cater to different modes and styles of teaching and learning. We have thoughtfully incorporated the essence of our local surroundings, with landscaped green spaces and a large undercover area for students to enjoy.
During the ceremonial turning of the sod and blessing ceremony on January 24th, College Founders Dr. Gerry McCoy and Ps Maureen, Board Chair Mrs. Tammy Fenwick, and representatives from the project builders, Castle Projects, joined our staff to celebrate this momentous occasion.
What sets us apart is our unique educational approach, which creates an inspired learning environment and facilitates exceptional moments for your child and all students. Within the safe and nurturing Christian environment of our College, your child is encouraged to become an independent and respectful learner with compassion and integrity. We offer a diverse curriculum and a rich selection of specialist programs to enhance their educational journey.
Our expansive campus in Wellard supports the growing community in Perth's southern suburbs of Wellard, Bertram, and Baldivis. Encompassing 26 acres, our College grounds border the pristine Bollard Bulrush wetlands, providing a serene setting for inspired learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
But don't just take our word for it. Here's what some of our parents and students have to say:
"Our three boys have attended The King's College since kindergarten and have received the most dedicated and genuine care from all of their teachers. They have completely thrived under the guidance of all school staff, who are all thoroughly invested in the well-being of our children. The school feels like a family, and the staff honestly strive to help nurture our children's growth spiritually, emotionally, and academically. We love The King's College and could not ask for a better environment for our children to grow."
"I am thankful to all my teachers for helping me through all the obstacles in learning and for their patience and kindness towards me and all the students. During my time at The King's College, a significant memory was receiving the 'Meryl J. Butler Music Award'. This award encouraged me and showed me what I could do with the gift that God has given me."
"Throughout my whole journey at the College, the teachers made the most significant impact on me. Each and every one of them challenged me and helped me progress. Over the years, they not only taught me general knowledge but have also taught me life lessons that I will remember for many years after school. I will miss them all dearly."
As a child safe organization, The King's College upholds the National Principles for Child Safe Organizations, as outlined by the Australian Human Rights Commission. We are committed to promoting child well-being and preventing harm to children or young people. Our institution continuously improves its Child Protection Program and adheres to the child protection laws, regulations, and standards in Western Australia.

Reviews
"Run like a cult. Attending here has ruined my mental health. Avoid at all costs."
"A very good school if you want your kid to feel safe. All of the teachers deliver teaching very well and the rules are moderate"
"Overall, an amazing school. I moved my daughter from another school to this school. Even though she started in Kindy mid term but I could see the difference in my daughter's performance whether study or activities. I am so happy with my decision. Teachers, admin staff and all the other staff are so prompt to help and resolve any issues( didn't have any issues just things which I could not personally go to school for my daughter) the school staff sorted it out. The school is a hidden gem in the southern suburbs. Would definitely recommend King's College for your children."
"We have been part of the school for the past 8 years. The school have been blessed with the most amazing caring staff. Best decision we ever made was to enrol our children at The King's College ☺"
"What an amazing school to be a part of. We as a family love everything about this beautiful College. There are no perfect schools, no perfect staff & no perfect students.....but the Kings College comes close :) So proud of the incredible influence the College is having on the wider community. Standing firm on the foundations that were laid & growing stronger with each new brick put in place. Excited to see what God still has in store for our awesome school. THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!!!"
