Welcome to Busy Fingers, a beauty salon and establishment located at 37A Tourist Road in East Toowoomba, Australia. As a point of interest in the area, Busy Fingers offers a range of beauty services to cater to your needs.

Please note that due to necessary maintenance work in our car park, it will be closed off for three days next week. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but this work is essential to minimize weeding and garden maintenance efforts.

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our busy Op Shop. The ideal candidate will provide efficient and accurate cashier services behind the counter while maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the counter cabinets. We value teamwork and effective communication with both customers and staff, as well as the ability to interact respectfully and calmly with the public. Punctuality, reliability, and a clean, neat appearance are expected at all times. In light of the current lockdown, if it ends on Sunday, August 8th, Busy Fingers will open at 8:30 am on Monday, August 9th. Please note that the Show Day holiday has been postponed to a later date by the government. On Monday, we will not be able to arrange any pickups, but you can contact us to schedule one for a later time.

During the lockdown from Tuesday, June 29th, until Monday, July 5th, all pickups that were arranged will be rescheduled for the following week.

We also have a temporary casual vacancy for a truck driver/off-sider. The role involves assisting in delivering and collecting donations from our customers on Bribie Island and the surrounding districts. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional Saturday mornings from 8 am to 12 pm. If you are an experienced truck driver and self-starter, please submit your application by 3:30 pm on Monday, April 19th, either by hand delivery to Manager Sonia at Busy Fingers Op Shop or by emailing it to busyfingers2@bigpond.com.

Additionally, we are looking for an experienced driver to assist us in delivering and collecting donations from our customers on Bribie Island and surrounding areas. A truck driver's license is not required for this position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3 pm (35-hour week), with occasional Saturday mornings from 8 am to 12 pm. The successful applicant will serve a 3-month probationary period and will need to undergo a medical assessment at our expense before confirmation of permanency. We are pleased to announce that we will be conducting a trial of our free pickup service on Tuesdays and Thursdays until Christmas. Following this trial, a final decision will be made in the new year regarding whether to continue the service on a permanent basis.

Please be aware that on Monday, August 3rd, 2020, the shop will have no power due to an Energex upgrade. We appreciate your understanding.
