"A bit "eeew!" for the price. The bed seems clean but the rest of the apartment seems questionable. The rooms are outdated but do have the basic necessities for an apartment. During check-in I got a "what are you doing here" vibe, didn't feel welcoming. The location is convenient and the free parking appreciated."
"I could NOT recommend Luma Luma 1) We booked a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment, nothing like their web page, was actually 2 separate rooms (505 & 506) 2) Minimal amenities. 3) Management NIL customer service skills 4) We could NOT stay in room 505 exceptionally small NO amenities/tv/chairs/kettle 5) After 2 nights we "upgraded" to 2 standard rooms at an EXTRA cost to US of $200/per night. Had us over a barrel, NIL other accommodation available in Darwin. 6) Only good points location and The Bakery downstairs PLEASE don't stay there"
"We stayed for 4 nights & didn't have great expectations but we're pleasantly surprised. The room was outdated & in need of renovation but was otherwise great. The bed was big and comfy and we had an awesome balcony overlooking the Bay. The hotel is close to Mitchell St & Darwin Waterfront. The manager was happy to give us a late check-out when requested. If you want 5 star then you have to pay for 5 star!! We were happy with what we paid for & would definitely stay again."
