"I wrote a 5star review for you a year ago. I’m sorry I have to delete the old review and pen a new one. Today’s 2stars, for a great great flourless almond-orange cake, the rest is not up to safety and hygiene standards. A very hurried, busy girl served me long black in a cracked cup. I didn’t notice it until I’d drunk almost half of it, mistaking it for caffeine markings! When I saw one of the girls who served me and asked her what she was going to do about it, she said it was her 1st day at work, she didn’t look into the cup, but she’d throw it away immediately. Please train your crew to place coffee and cake without chucking them on the table. It’s common practice in the hospitality business to be less hurriedly and more cautious in serving. We pay you premium price and we expect good service. Thank you."
