"Caitlin was a ray of sunshine. Pie had a large tube of intestine or suchlike. Apart from that, very tasty. Small coffee and a pie over $15 last time, so just pie today. Still $10. Would have bought a treat as well, but quite expensive. Overall, nice product and would be more regular if not so pricey."
"Is this racism? This is less about the food and more about the customer service. This morning there was an older caucasian lady at the counter who refused to serve me an African woman. It was 8am on a Saturday and I was the only one at the counter. I walked up and she continued to wipe the counter ignoring me. She then told me she would not make me coffee as long as I was holding my phone. I pay for things with my phone and also I had paused a conversation I was having over the phone, lowered my phone to place the order. Straight after this a lady ( also caucasian) walked up behind me and she took her order and proceeded to ignore me altogether. I was left in shock. As an immigrant it is unfortunately normal to deal with all kinds of microaggressions in everyday country Australia. But this...I have no words."
"Went yesterday and had the Walzing Matilda vegetable pie and it was delicious. Full of vegetables in a yummy sauce. This is my favourite. Would be great if there were gluten free pie options as well."
"$9 for a pie. Times are hard for all, for companies and clients. But for that price I expected a bit of meat and a lot less sauce. Was the sweet lamb but on the lid was curry lamb and as mentioned above I found one piece of lamb, a few veggies and a lot of curry sauce."
"A good stop! Lots of choice and tasty foods. Sausage roll and pie were not bad, like most of the other reviews here I would say it's fairly pricey. $12 for a salty pie with frozen prawns still yummy though. More of a fast and convenient food place rather than a gourmet, fresh bakehouse. Overall I'd say its a good bakehouse with really quick service! :)"
