"Called in here to purchase some groceries. Landed up having lunch cooked for us and invited to eat under the sun blocking umbrellas to keep the heat off us a bit. Was amazed with the range of goods forsale and yes in stock. Well done to a friendly crew."

"Remember to be crocodile aware! Wagait Beach is very scenic with wide sandy beaches. It is about 1.5hrs drive from Darwin, with a couple of photo stops along the way. This access point had a picnic table in a shady area close to the beach. No toilet amenities though there are amenities in the village."
"The little shop and fast food restaurant. They let you sleep in the backyard for free. Obviously this is for self-contained vehicles only. The good practice is to get there a dinner or breakfast in exchange for the parking spot. Their fish and chips is quite good. The ketchup and tartar sauce are not tasty and they should change the brand or make their own. You can easily just share one portion for two people."
