"This was a lovely restaurant, food was great (Maryland Chicken and fries on side) and the service was spot on, attentive and friendly but not too pushy. Really nice location and vibe at night as well."

"Our group had the farewell dinner there after sunset outside. The atmosphere was fantastic with the illumination, the ferris wheel and the reflections in the harbour. The food was good. The only downside was a fairly lengthy delay in serving the dessert."

"Dined for my partner's Birthday. First time to try wharfone. Was so embarrassed when we got there no staff looked at us while we were standing at the outside counter. An older couple came a lady staff accomodated them straight away. After sitting them the lady staff came back out and stood at the corner smiling at people walking pass the resto. She even smiled at us while we stood there. I was soooo confused so I asked her if we can be sitted. She confirmed our booking and finally we got sitted. I wanted to give her a medal. The food and drinks were beautiful. It came quick too and enjoyed it. Pricing is good with a great view. The resto also accomodated our sitting request. Thank you. Can I just say not everyone needs to be treated special, but us guests ask to be treated fairly."

"I was with my mum, who wanted dessert. We saw the dessert menu out front, decided on an option, and asked if we could be seated for drinks and dessert only. (The restaurant was not full.) The waitperson looked very unsure, but checked and confirmed this was okay. On trying to order the dessert, it turned out that our choice was not available, and the menus had not been updated to reflect this. Had a second choice - was okay. Drinks came out quickly. Lovely location and would have had a second drink, but unable to attract anyone’s attention. The waitstaff were busy, perhaps they were understaffed. We left after the one drink. Good atmosphere, but not cheap and service is not fast."

"Had a pleasant evening at Wharf One. The gin-cured salmon, duck breast and pork belly were delicious, well presented and very-well proportioned (albeit could do with more sides for balance). The staff were very friendly, helpful and pretty attentive despite being busy (on a public holiday). The view from the alfresco outdoor seating was lovely, however those tables further out from the canopy lighting really need some sort of table candle/light, as we (and other guests) had to use our phone lights to read the menus and see our meals/not sit in darkness. Overall, a lovely evening."
