Our roots can be traced back to the namesake shipping and commission business that operated out of the wharf front building in the early 20th century. The historical warehouse, built in 1911, was given heritage listing before being transformed into our accommodation in 2004. Today, the iconic façade and front office welcome guests to our reception area, offering a touch of history in the heart of Cairns.

"I booked the last few days of my holiday in a sea view apartment as a way to celebrate, prior to leaving for the UK. Sadly, shortly after check-in and admiring the beautiful views, a gigantic P&O cruise docked directly outside the hotel, resulting in my 'sea views' becoming a view of seemed like a block of flats; to top it off, it stank and was noisy if we went out on the balcony. If the fact that the hotel was fronted by the cruise terminal, and that the view from my apartment was very different to what had been advertised ans sold, I would not be making an issues or this, as I simply would have booked alsewhere. This tainted what should have been ending the holiday with a 'bang'. Very disappointed"

"From the moment we stepped into the apartment complex, we knew we made a great choice. The location was fantastic, the warm welcome from reception appreciated, the room, although basic, had everything we needed for comfort, and the inlet/ocean view from our balcony was exceptional! Everything handy was in walking distance (Woolworths/cafes/restaurants etc), a carbay was included and there was a refreshing pool to cool down in, upon return from activities. Certainly no fanciness to these apartments, but fantastic value for money. Highly recommend for value, comfort and views!"
"Fantastic location! Jodie at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Early check in which was a great suprise as we were expecting to check in at 2pm. Would highly recommend staying here. Will certainly book again on our next cairns trip! You wont be dissapointed, especially of the wonderful views from the balcony! Thanks for a great stay."
"The Apartment was magnificent & very clean, with spectacular water views . The apartment was our first impression of Cairns and it certainly didn’t disappoint. You are at the beginning of a wonderful walk on that gorgeous boardwalk. Our host were amazing and so helpful with anything.
