Bunnings Victoria Point

"I was absolutely shocked at the way I was spoken to by a staff member today at the self checkouts - I don’t think anyone have ever spoken to me with such distain before. I shop in store multiple time a week due to my business, but for the first time had scanned my purchase in my PowerPass app then went to the self checkout (I usually go through trade counter) as the other registers were busy, after scanning the QR code and it not working. I asked for assistance, the way the guy responded with “you can’t use that here- go to those registers” with a tone like I had just run his dog over then insulted his mother. I honestly don’t know how this store allows staff to be so rude- lately the staff on the paint counter have been equally as rude and dismissive or just not available when I need to have colours mixed - you can often find them all standing in another isle talking and laughing while several people are waiting to be served. I recently placed a huge order ( close to $2K) and deliberately placed it to be collected from Underwood as I just didn’t want to hassle with the staff in VP. Something needs to be done about this store."

"Went into the tool section to purchase some drill bits, needed some advice so I looked for someone, but the only one on was a young lad called Lincoln. He was on his phone and was extremely unhelpful! If I acted like this at my job I would be sacked! This is unacceptable, complete waste of my time! Won't be back any time soon!!"

"PLEASE REMOVE CHILDREN TROLLEYS!!!! Bunnings in Victoria Point has become a children's play centre. Who in their right mind decided that allowing children their own little shopping trolley in a place filled with hazards is a good idea? I'm sure parents think it's cute but it is not cute at all. Bunnings is supposed to be a place of business, not a rumpus room. Twice now I have had the "pleasure" of a child running wild and hitting me with their trolley (of course, the parent nowhere in sight). Bunnings - this is irresponsible of you and it is rife with HSE issues. Bunnings inventory is filled with dangerous tools, toxic chemicals, sharp products, etc ... aisles are packed with various stock that is easily tipped over when children are running rampant with these ridiculous trolleys. Today there was a family with a gaggle of children, each with their own trolley. They cluttered the aisle and I wasn't able to get the item I needed (a very expensive tool) - so I left. I could tell that other customers were as frustrated as I was and left that aisle. Parents should be cautioned at the entrance that children are to be supervised as it is dangerous to be left alone in a store filled with hazards. And Bunnings - PLEASE STOP WITH THIS ASININE IDEA. REMOVE THESE KIDDIE TROLLEYS and focus on providing customer service with a focus on your paying ADULT customers. If you want to be in the child-entertainment industry then perhaps you can set up a child's play area where parent drop off their children and the rest of us can shop in peace! Until then, I refuse to shop at Bunnings."

"well stocked and priced, service at check out ok, in store help non existent ,5 staff gathered around coffe shop ,took no interest in helping.,staff should take there break out of view of customers ."

"A slightly smaller store but it still carries everything the larger stores carry. It's in a good position near to other shopping centres. The staff do genuinely try to deliver their best service no matter what section they find themselves in. I've always had good, prompt service."
