"Nice location, however with the large number of other properties in Cairns you would be better to spend your $400+ per night somewhere else. Rooms are tired and need of a good upgrade. The bed was very uncomfortable, stayed 3 nights from the first night the shower gel was empty. Asked to have it changed with out success. Other amenities were missing and remained missing for the duration. Breakfast was included each day. Nothing like eating out in the main corridor to the casino, food was not up to any standard. The staff in the breakfast area were nice. This hotel hasn’t changed since the day it was built. It’s not worth $400+ per night."

"Excellent staff and great customer service. We really enjoyed our stay here and the rooms were nice, plus location is perfect. Only minor issues I would say as feedback are: - were we werent able to use the television/chromecast - sometimes robes were not replaced - we stayed 9 nights and our price increased as we went through checkout; then further a new promotion which included plenty of extras for those who stayed 7 nights (which we couldn’t get) Overall everything else was amazing and would certainly recommend."

"Its very tired, house keeping was hit an miss forgetting to service our room and then wasnt cleaned properly,they got our breakfast order wrong and coffees always arrived cold. However, when we pointed this out it was rectified quickly. The only thing i will say that it was in a great location. Pitty about the rest, we won't be back."

"The Pullman Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns had a mixed experience. The overall ambiance felt a bit dark and rundown, lacking in vibrant energy. The limited number of shops was disappointing, with the main focus seemingly on the pokies. However, we stumbled upon a pleasant surprise—the nice bar during happy hour, which added some enjoyment to our stay. The highlight was the wildlife park on the roof, which provided a cool and unique experience. Despite its shortcomings, the hotel's rooftop attraction and the chance to unwind at the bar made the visit somewhat worthwhile. Didn’t stay at the hotel so can’t speak to the rooms. Other reviews suggest they are nice."

"Great hotel with wonderful service. While the hotel is a little older, it still felt luxurious and has been very well maintained. Our room was left spotless everyday by housekeeping despite having a 16 month old with us! It’s in a very convenient location with lots of restaurants and the boat terminal for the reef only a 200m walk away. We were very happy with our decision to stay at the Pullman Reef hotel and recommend it for anyone travelling to Cairns"
