About the Business

Welcome to St Anthony's Catholic College, one of Townsville's premier educational institutions offering a comprehensive Catholic education from Prep to Year 12. Located in the rapidly growing Deeragun and northern beaches precinct, our college is situated at Veales Road, providing a peaceful and serene environment for our students to thrive.
At St Anthony's, we are guided by our motto, "Let Your Light Shine," which reflects our commitment to nurturing the unique talents and abilities of each individual student. As a Townsville Catholic school in the Franciscan tradition, we are inspired by the spirit of St Francis of Assisi, promoting values of compassion, humility, and respect.
Our college boasts state-of-the-art facilities, designed to provide an optimal learning environment for our students. Surrounded by beautiful bushland and extensive grounds, our campus offers a tranquil setting conducive to academic growth and personal development. We pride ourselves in providing a well-resourced and supportive environment for our dedicated and professional teaching staff.
At St Anthony's, we believe in the importance of strong partnerships between the college, parents, and the wider community. We foster close relationships with parents and actively collaborate with St Anthony's Catholic Parish, which is under the guidance of the Franciscan Friars. Together, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive community that supports the holistic development of our students.
As we acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Wulgurukaba and Bindal people, we pay our respects to the elders past, present, and future. We are committed to promoting reconciliation and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of our region.
Currently, we are in week 8 of Term 3, with 10 weeks in total. Whether you are considering enrolling your child or seeking more information about our college, we invite you to explore our website and discover the multitude of opportunities that St Anthony's Catholic College has to offer.
Let your child's light shine at St Anthony's Catholic College, where quality education and a supportive community come together to shape their future.

"Only thing this school is good at is taking your money every week, only allowing my grandson to attend school 9am to 11am every day because they can't handle his learning disability, they discriminate and couldn't care less that they broke a 5year olds heart making him go home every day, this school is a disgrace save your money, because if your not a straight A student with an IQ that suits them they couldn't be bothered, all kids have now been pulled out of this so called school and are now thriving , happy and content at a much caring public school. St Anthony's you should be ashamed of yourself. And if I could put zero for stars I would of."
"Some staff are annoying and some staff are super good the staff often does nothing about bullying so i reccomend you beat up the bullys, you will get in trouble for no reason but its the only way and about deuses story below i believe that would happen with how the staff function here"
"Back in Year 7, I was bullied immensely to the point of being choked on the bus on School Grounds. Staff and Faculty did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue, and I began getting bullied by the Faculty itself. Without a doubt the worst school you can think of going to if you want to get somewhere. There are State Schools better than this one."
"Great little school almost linked from primary too high due too their proximity staff are always friendly and helpful"
