"We stayed here during their off season to visit the Port Arthur historic site. Only 15mins up the road, it's a good choice if that's where you're planning to go to. Didn't realise the restaurant would be closed, or that we would be the only people staying here. View over the paddocks was nice, camp itself is just a gravel patch, hard to peg our awning into Owners were nice, available by phone if you don't see them. Price was fine for what you get, showers are $2 for 3 minutes hot water."

"Small cages. They feed even the very underweight horses bread. We went there with friends. Never again. Heartbreaking. So many animals living/standing in their own feaces"

"The worst I don't know how this restaurant got the number 1 spot for Tripadvisor! The young guy who was meant to be serving was extremely unhelpful. Ignoring the bell and my attempts to get his attention. He never smiled once and didn't even put any music on in the restaurant. The cook came out and helped us. He was a really nice and friendly guy. He served us, put the music on and probably cooked. Now the food is also a point of disappointment! I have no issue with paying a higher price for quality meals but $40.00 for an overcooked steak and slaw! No cool! Whoever owns this place, you need to address the 1. Quality of meals 2. How the staff treats and greets your customers and 3. Price your food accordingly. From what I've seen, your prices for what you get is certainly not worth it. I would've given you a 1 star if not for the cook being such a nice guy. I'm happy to discuss this with you if you like."

"Disappointed in our visit. Menu for breakfast very expensive - eggs on toast with a piece of bacon for $20. Coffee was bitter and watery. Most staff were friendly but not engaging. Peacock held in very small cage and struggled to turn around when he had his feathers up. Whilst probably meeting minimum requirements for holding animals, it would be nice to see them in a bigger enclosure where they could walk around more."
