"Initial service told me I needed a new filter and pump - over $2000. Pool cleaner then didn't get up the walls. Was called a liar by the service guy who fitted it who told me the Zodiac would 'never make it up the walls' in spite of doing so for 20 years of having them. Was then charged for chemicals I'd already bought from the shop for servicing - THEN - was told I could do a 'minor' job by a new service guy to fit a backflow valve (which he actually said he thought would have been done when they fitted the new pump and filter) - half an hour's work - no quote - subsequently invoiced almost $250 which included $66 callout charge 'to maintain the fleet' when I was 5 kilometers from the shop. I asked another company I've used for my Zodiac pool cleaners for a quote - $85. I had my last pool guy for 15 years without an issue - AND had reports of exactly what had been done every visit. Mike in the shop is very nice but the service and their treatment of me was dreadful."
