"We wanted to try the famous scallop pie while in Tasmania and found this cute place while on the double decker bus. It's very quaint and small, like many of the other restaurants we have tried here in Tasmania. I love all of the decor and it fits in well with surrounding heritage homes. The curried scallop pie was really good. The crust was so nice and buttery and it came with a homemade ketchup that paired well together. We also tried the wallaby pepper pie. Again our first time trying wallaby! I would say it tastes similar to beef. It came in a very tasty thick sauce. For dessert we had the fruit tart with creme fraiche. The best one we have had so far! I loved the chocolate layer in between the fruit and the tart."

"Coffees were great, food the last two mornings has been decent quality and value, just not my favourite menu choices available. Nice space, lovely decor, friendly and efficient service. A pretty good little spot to stop for a cuppa."

"Dropped by for coffee and pies for brunch. Would recommend the scallop pie - pastry was flakey, the filling was flavourful with a good balance of scallop and veggies (compared to Richmond Bakery). Lamb pie was also amazing. Great customer service and food came out quickly."
