"Not interested in supplying a quote for insurance: "I don't need their business"; "I don't want to waste an hour of my time". Unhelpful and rude."

"Very lovely ladies in the office. They did excellent work on my car. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a panel beater."

"They did a great job of the paint work, and the initial service was very good. Unfortunately, it was a very complicated and expensive (20K+) job as they had to dismantle a fully decked out 4WD designed for genuine outback touring so roof top tent, awnings, canopies, and lots of electricals had to be removed before the painting was done. They clearly rushed putting the vehicle back together, chipping paint from the canopy lifting points, not reinstalling one of the utility tray suspension rubbers, not sealing the house battery compartment, not securing the house batteries properly, installing one Anderson Plug back-to-front, cutting the power line to the reversing camera in two places and coving the re-joins with shoddy electrical tape, the driving lights had the wrong capacity fuse and wiring and it melted the first time the lights were turned on, damaged the driver’s window tinting, incorrectly reinstalled the water tank so it leaked in two different places and the Toyota sticker on the back had blisters under it. To their credit they fixed the problems I couldn’t fix myself and gave me some touch up paint to fix the minor canopy lifting points chips and scratches. Unfortunately, when I took it off road, bits started falling off, first a mudflap but they insisted I must have bumped it, so I paid for a replacement, then another mudflap, then the two back wheel flaring and the front drivers ones started to come off and it was pointed out by friends that the bumper wasn't straight. When I went back the company refused to fix the problems, the manager pulled the wheel flarings and broke the glue joints I had made to stop flaring coming off before refusing to rectify the problems. The manager was quite rude suggesting I had taken it off road and I had hit something and declared "We have spent enough money on that car, now get out". It is true I had taken it off road (afterall, it is an offroad 4WD) but I most definitely had not hit anything with the Bull Bar and the scratching on the Rock Sliders is what happens when you go offroad and they were being quite unreasonable expecting the vehicle should not be driven offroad. I formally complained to the CIL Insurance in writing, and they were brilliant and said I could take the vehicle to a different repairer and have the problems fixed. Micra Eastern shore fixed the problems saying the Bull Bar had not hit anything, but the bolts had not been correctly tightened and one was missing, and it appeared the single use clips that hold the wheel flarings on had not been replaced when the wheel flarings were installed after painting. They also installed new mudflaps and put silicon on the threads so they would not fall off again. So, in summary, they paint well but the after-repair service was awful and they need to note how they take things apart so they can reassemble things properly and their electrical subcontractor is substandard."
