Welcome to Unigym, a multi-purpose fitness center located on the University of Tasmania campuses in Sandy Bay, Newnham, and Burnie. Whether you're a student, staff member, or a member of the community, our gym and health facilities are here to help you achieve your fitness goals.

When it comes to fitness, Unigym has you covered. Our fitness centers provide state-of-the-art equipment, health services, and sporting facilities for everyone. Whether you're looking to join group fitness classes, use our sports hall, or book a squash court, we have options to suit your needs.

If you're new to group fitness classes, don't worry. Our instructors are here to support you. We recommend arriving early and letting the instructor know it's your first class. They will help you set up the appropriate equipment and inform you of any specific requirements. Don't forget to book your session in advance and bring a towel and drink bottle for a comfortable workout.

Speaking of group fitness classes, we offer a variety of classes, and access to them is included within the cost of your membership fees. Check out our group fitness timetables in Hobart and Launceston to find the perfect class for you.

If you're interested in using our sports hall or booking a squash court, availability can be viewed on our website. While you can't book the sports hall online, our friendly reception staff are happy to assist you with making a booking over the phone or via email.

Membership at Unigym grants you reciprocal rights between our Hobart and Launceston locations. You can purchase memberships online or at our reception. If you need to cancel or suspend your membership, please refer to our terms and conditions for the appropriate process.

We take the safety and well-being of our members seriously. It's important to clean equipment after use, adhere to physical distancing rules, and bring a towel to every workout. If you're feeling unwell, we encourage you to stay home until you're better. Our staff are always available to assist you with any equipment questions, and you can also find exercise demonstrations and workouts on our YouTube channel.
