"This review is in no way about the clinic as a whole, more so about 1 technician by the name of Tanya, who I highly recommend you stay away from. Tanya gives laser clinics a bad look!! I’ve been going here for the last couple years for my laser hair removal no problems until now. I was refused service based on Tanya’s opinion and judgement. Apparently you can’t be a white women with a natural tan. Tanya didn’t believe that my skin colour was my natural tan and kept questioning whether I was wearing fake tan, I assured her multiple times no it’s my natural colour. She even asked my nationality and went as far as alcohol wiping my leg without my consent or knowledge. The plot twist is something was on my leg however it was black not orange if it had been fake tan. Tanya was down right rude, degraded me and refused my service, accused me of having fake tan on and then accused me for lying about it. I don’t take being accused of lying lightly, I know for a fact that I did not have fake tan in fact I’ve never ever used fake tan. I like my skin and I’m aware of the risks, I would never want to put my skin at risk of damage. Nothing I said would change her narrative to her story. I asked to speak to Alana the manager. I am so grateful for Alana, she is so lovely! I was so worked up and so upset but she had the time of day to sit with me and figure it all out. I was generally confused why my leg was wiping off black when I had a shower prior and couldn’t physically see anything. Turns out it was fibres stuck to my skin from my new Lorna Jane black thermal tights I was wearing all day. Tip for you ladies don’t wear black thermal tights prior to a laser appointment. After my experience I will now ONLY see Alana or Tyler, that is if I decide to go back. Tanya has really ruined my experience with this clinic and has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable."
