"Went in today. Absolutely worst service as soon as you walk in. Just wanted to have a look and it was clear my hands were full. The lady stopped me while I was trying to browse and couldn’t even wait til I got to the counter, got me to pull out my ID while I was trying to look for what to buy. Im 30 years old next year. I showed her she said okay 1994 then she walked away. I got my alcohol and went to the counter, AGAIN she asked me for my ID! Then asked me what my birth year was, then told me NO you have to say what your complete date of birth year is. Then I told her no I didn’t want to scan my Woolworths card, I honestly just wanted to pay and get out of there but she proceeds with “well I saw it in your wallet”. Honestly I’ve never been so annoyed buying alcohol before. Will not be back."

"Rude staff. Refused to serve me and my partner who are in our mid 20s because partner forgot her Id and who left the store without argument bc she didn’t have her Id they then went on to refuse me service (even with my id) because she had come in the store without one. They then went on to serve a women and her son who looked 17 (women was clearly buying the alcohol for her son not her). They also proceeded to follow my partner out the store and stare her down while she waited outside for me making her feel uncomfortable. As a retail employee myself this is Poor form on this stores behalf. They also might want to learn how to do COVID check in since they are so strict on protocol and laws. Will not be going to any bws anytime soon cause of this. Get new staff members who actually know what service is rather then this hypocritical mob."

"Staff are lovely, I don't usually bring my child with me to this store, but when I came in yesterday, they were kind enough to ask what I was after and offered to help me bring the item to the trolley, to save me taking my child further into the store, always nice staff when I enter, even when I turn up 5 minutes before closing, awesome work, great people :)"
