"Thanks so much Animal Options for looking after our boy Rocky after his recent surgery! The whole team was really lovely and took great care of our boy. He gets a bit anxious going to the vets and really sooky after procedures but the girls made sure he was well looked after giving him bits of chicken and extra cuddles! I had peace of mind knowing he was in good hands and I believe their pricing is reasonable in comparison with other vets we've been to in the past. Special shoutout to Dr. Sonja and nurse Amy who did the procedure! Thanks again girls!"

"Our favourite local Vet clinic. Our rottweiller loves going here because all the staff are just so beautiful and kind. We had two rottweillers before and they also loved this clinic and we just can't say enough good things about how compassionate and caring everyone is at Animal Options Vet Clinic. We will only ever go to this clinic because they are amazing and so friendly always. Thank you all for always taking such great care of our much loved family members, we also have two Bengals and they are always treated with absolute love and care. This vet clinic is our No.1 stop for our loved animals. Thank you guys, you all rock."

"Really disappointed with the service and would not recommend this vet. We just needed a repeat script for indigestion medication for our dog - at the same time we were thinking about changing vets and had told Animal Options we were wanting to consider them for our permanent vet. We were told the consult fee would be $98. After waiting for 30 minutes past our appointment time, we finally saw a vet and went through our dog’s history and she agreed to provide us a script for 6 months of the medication. At the vet’s suggestion we were also sold the 10 tablets they had in stock to get us through until we received the online order (although we didn’t really need these). On checking out, I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t double check what they charged us. They said they would email me the paperwork. Later that evening I realized that had charged me nearly $200 - and we did not get a prescription!! I spoke to them on the phone the next day and raised the fact that we had been charged 2 x $48 prescription fees. I was told they would fix the error in charging and send me the paperwork. Still nothing by the next day. Each time I spoke to them they pushed hard to get our dog’s records sent from our other vet but I did not feel comfortable. On the third day they told me the extra charge was an additional ‘dispensing’ fee of $48 because of the 10 tablets they had sold me. They had not told me this at the time and now said it was mandated by the government and could not be refunded. They had also charged me additionally for these tablets. They then also said they don’t give the scripts to the client but would only send them to the pharmacy. They agreed to send me confirmation when this was done. The next day, still nothing. On calling again, another staff member told me the 2nd vet I had been talking to yesterday now no longer wanted to send the script until we agreed to get the previous vet records transferred as she felt she needed more information - we had not even consulted with this vet! And these were indigestion tablets, not anything that can be used for nefarious purposes. They again pushed for our dog’s records and by then I told them I did not feel comfortable and we would not be transferring to them. Reluctantly they refunded $48 only and kept $150 for basically no service (unless you want to count trimming 7 toenails!). We immediately booked with another local vet who saw us that day, and provided both a thorough consultation and the scripts for $108 total. We transferred out pet’s history to them and felt confident in doing so. I would suggest you try other vets in Ormeau! Please note I rarely write reviews and when I do, I am much more likely to write a positive than a negative one but really felt I needed to share our horrid experience in this case!"
