"I arrived to the salon one minute before my scheduled appointment time. As soon as I walked in, the lady at the reception desk asked if I was *my name* before I could say anything. She then said she had just tried to call me and left a voice message. I thought wow they must be really prompt to call even before your appointment time! She rushed me over to a chair. She didn't introduce herself or make any conversation the whole time. I now realise this may have been because she thought I was late and probably rude for not apologising for being late! What was meant to be a pampering 45 min appointment was only about 25-30 mins for a shampoo, haircut and blow-dry. I had to go home and straighten my hair as it looked unfinished from the blow dry. Someone else had walked into the salon without an appointment and my hairdresser said to her that she wouldn't be a minute - she had only just started cutting my hair.. At the end of the appointment I finally blurted out "my appointment was at 5:45 right?" to which she said "no 5:30" I said that I had booked 5:45 online and she said "oh you should've received an sms confirmation" insinuating that she didn't believe me. I got my phone out and showed her the sms confirmation for 5:45 and she said "oh, it is too". I was so embarrassed that she and everyone in the salon thought I was late and hadn't apologised for being late! I was still charged full price. I understand this was a human or computer error but I left feeling embarrassed and deflated after what was meant to be a pampering 45 minutes to myself as a busy working mum. The hair cut itself is fine - I only got a trim."

"Management provided terrible service. Treated me like an inconvenience when my colour washed out after short period as I wanted it to be redone (never asked for it to be done for free by the way). Then had my appointment booked on the wrong day (didn’t receive a confirmation message or a message to see why I never made the appointment), missed it and then when I went to go the day I actually asked to be booked for, was spoken to rudely and threatened to have the appointment taken away ‘as they were already doing me a favour by fixing it’... Sad because the hair dressers are actually good at their jobs but can’t support the owner/manager for the treatment of customers."
