"Ordered fish and chips and told wait time would be fifteen minutes. Came back 20 minutes later, and it was not even in the deep frier. Was told it would be two minutes ( a tad absurd) returned twenty minutes later and something had arrived. About three centimetres long piece of battered fish and less than one centimetre thick. Pretty much all batter. Chips were old and tiny. Not worth $17:30. I have been forgiving of two prior shoddy outcomes but three strikes and it’s now out. Not going again. Very disappointed."

About 3cm of fish and less than 1cm deep of fish - all the rest batter. Not worth $17:30. This is the third shoddy takeaway I’ve had from there. I’m pretty forgiving but not going there again. "We just paid over $60 for 8 grilled prawns, a handful of battered chips, and an inedible salad that was completely soggy and old. While the chips were pretty tasty, everything else was disappointing and I'm super surprised at the tiny serve considering the price. Regrettable choice, never again!"

"I wish I didn't have to select 1 star in order to post a review. Went there on a Sunday afternoon, ordered Chicken Burger & Chips and Battered Trevalli and Chips, the burger cost $16 and the fish and chips $20, was told after I paid that it would be a 20 minute wait (we were wanting to just sit on the beach and eat lunch) order was ready I could see no chips with the chicken burger, asked where the chips were and was told bluntly, that will be another $4, I just said to not worry about it and left, we got to the beach opened our boxes and YUCK!!! My chicken burger was even chicken it was like a flattened rissole and tasted awful, my partner but into his fish and it was rancid, probably been frozen for a few years and the batter was soft, soggy and oily and even the "no frills" frozen chips were undercooked, food spat out and dumped in the bin. Stay away !!!"

"A bit disappointed. Food was ready 20 mins after from the Oz Food Hunter pick up time. This is the site were the menu is located. We ordered the seafood basket. The chips were half fresh, half old with bits of burnt batter in them. The scallop batter was slightly over cooked yet the scallop meat wasn’t completely cooked through. The battered flathead and curbed calamari were tasty and the fresh chips were good. The lady was apologetic about the wait."
