Located on Hobart's waterfront, the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) brings together Tasmania's strengths in marine and Antarctic studies, providing opportunities for collaborative research of state, national, and international significance.

Our Medical Science Precinct (MSP) in the heart of Hobart CBD accommodates research facilities for our Menzies Institute for Medical Research, School of Medicine, and the Royal Hobart Hospital. This precinct offers world-class teaching and research facilities for around 300 students and staff.

For those interested in the arts, our vibrant creative precinct brings together artists from various disciplines, including Fine Arts, Design, Media, Music, and Theatre and Performance. The iconic Jones & Co. IXL jam factory, a fully-converted late-19th Century space, serves as a hub for creativity.
