Located conveniently on Market Street in Wollongong, our centre offers a wide range of services to support your relationship wellbeing and mental health. Whether you're in need of counselling, mental health services, disability-focused services, or group workshops, our friendly and experienced team is here to help.

At our Illawarra Centre, we have a dedicated team of child and family counsellors and group educators who are qualified in various areas such as social work, psychology, relationship counselling, and Family Dispute Resolution. We strive to provide a safe and inclusive space for people of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA community. As part of ACON's Welcome Here initiative, all of our centres proudly display the Pride flag.

Our group workshops cover a variety of topics, including communication, LGBTQIA relationships, parenting, and domestic violence support for women. Led by LGBTQIA facilitators, our Proud Relationships workshop is specifically tailored for the LGBTQIA community, helping individuals build strong relationships with themselves and others. For those navigating difficult relationships with former partners, our communication improvement group offers tools to reduce conflict and make decisions in the best interests of your children.

We understand that relationships can be tough, and sometimes we all need extra support and guidance. Our Couples Counselling provides a supportive environment to discuss concerns, overcome tensions, and strengthen your partnership. For men, our domestic violence reduction program aims to develop positive and safe relationships while eliminating violent behavior cycles.

Individual Counselling is available for those facing personal challenges, providing a supportive environment to identify and manage problems and concerns. Family Counselling offers a safe space to address problems, improve communication, and strengthen relationships within families. We also provide free counselling and support to individuals with disabilities and their families, including those affected by the Disability Royal Commission.

If you're going through separation or divorce, our Parenting Orders Program can help you stay focused on your children's needs during this stressful time. Additionally, we offer workshops and courses focused on mental health and disability, providing tools and strategies for self-care and maintaining positive social connections.
