"You dont need " do not resuscitate " . As this hospital just does what it likes as I know in the case of my Mum. Not good enough and no family consultation ."

"Exemplary service and care. Cannot fault the treatment I have received from any department of the hospital. From the emergency department to surgery and follow up treatment I have had, and the continuing care I am receiving, you couldn’t ask for better."

"My mother was brought in to the hospital yesterday for a suspected stoke, she was transported from her home with is approximately 3 hours away. I contacted the department at 8:41pm after being transferred though five departments I got ahold of a nurse, who explained that my mother didn't have a stoke but has nerve palsy and was able to be discharged, due to my mothers home being far they understood she wasn't able to get home. I am next of kin but live in Western Australia, she explained she was going to talk to her team leader and would try to keep her in overnight due to these circumstances. I ask her to phone me back if they are required to discharge my mother with no where to go who also had a flat phone and no means to charge it (which they were aware). They did not! At 10:00pm they requested my mother to leave! My mother then spent the night sitting outside the Hospital in only active wear she was wearing with no means to contact any one for help, they did however offer her to sit in the waiting room at early hours of the morning once everyone had left the emergency room,she was not offered this in the beginning and was not offered to stay indoors till after hours of sitting outside scared. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! The bare minimum they could have done was contact myself and inform me so I could have organised somewhere warm for her to sleep. This is disgraceful, I understand the pressure on needing hospital beds but to not even allow support, communication, warmth or even means to charge a phone is sickening."

"Wonderful staff. It’s such a shame that those of us who are cared for in this hospital fail to express their thanks to the caring, dedicated and overworked nurses and the allied health staff who look after them and help them to recover. A big thank you to the nurses on the stroke ward who made such an effort to look after me and other patients, especially seeing that they had to cope with a serious COVID outbreak throughout the hospital which saw so many of them taking extra shifts. All heroes!"

"This isn't a place most people are happy to visit, but I can be grateful for the artworks I saw throughout the building. It brought just a little joy."
