"I stay here regularly and our team choose to host lots of our courses here for a number of reasons. Firstly the customer service is excellent. It is such a serene lovely setting yet so close to the freeway and Geelong. The food is so tasty yet healthy. We have run a number of residential retreats here and the participants love this venue. There are an excellent range of different size rooms and spaces all with lightning fast wifi. Tech support is always on hand."

"We arrived to Waurn Ponds Estate on Saturday afternoon for a day on the green. On check in we were handed a piece of paper with a shuttle bus schedule we had planned to drive and have a designated drive but as the shuttle bus was available we decided to do this instead. We got to our room and got our luggage inside had a quick look at the room. The bathroom was unclean with dirty water stains on tiles, to blonde long hair all over the floor. There was also makeup stains on the vanity. Considering the price we paid this was very poor! This is a 3 star accomidation with 5 star prices which is fair enough including the shuttle and breakfast. We were informed as we got off the shuttle that the bus would leave after the concert once full and return for a second trip. We packed up before the final song so we could go straight away when we arrived within 5min the bus had left judging on the amount of people we had left the bus was not full. That’s fine we were happy to wait, it was only a 10min trip back to the estate. There was no update on where the bus was or any organisation from anyone. After an hour and a half a security guard came over and informed us that our bus was not coming back. He said we had to get a taxi or Uber we tried calling Waurn Ponds Estate with no answer. We managed to get an Uber on arrival to our accomidation there were 3 staff at reception so no excuse not to answer calls. On check out there was no apology when I brought up the state of the bathroom. I know we were not the only ones underwhelmed!"

"Stayed at Waurn Ponds Estate as they offered a shuttle to and from Day on the green at Mt Duneed. Paid a premium but at least we knew we’d get home. Waited in designated pick-up location post concert 10:45pm. By 11:40pm all other bus services were gone. Everyone staying at Waurn Ponds still waiting for the shuttle in a paddock in the dark at 12:45am with no contact. Called reception no answer. Concert security told us the bus wasn’t coming so found an Uber at own expense. On return at 1:15am found three people manning reception. Do not stay here for Day On the Green."
