"Worst experience. I asked before booking appointment whether I would have to pay or would it be covered by Bupa and I was ensured you don't need to pay. When I went for ultrasound, and I mentioned that I have Bupa card. I was asked to get ultrasound first. After ultrasound, when I gave my Bupa card, the lady at reception told me that I have to pay because "we are a private practise". I mentioned that I had confirmed it before booking the appointment. But the lady made me pay for it saying you can claim back from Bupa. And eventually I had to pay 30% of the cost out of pocket. If you are an intetnational student using Bupa card, choose your option wisely, so you don't have to face what I did."
"I was at Illawarra Radiology today and was very impressed with the fast and efficient service. I had X-rays, mri and ultrasound and was not kept waiting for more than a few minutes between procedures. I had a 10 am appointed and was seeing my first ultrasound technician about five minutes later. Highly unusual for a medical practice. Thank you."
