At MinFu Restaurant, we take great pride in our chef, Raymond, who brings over 30 years of culinary expertise to the table. With experience in various cities across China, including Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Shenyang, Raymond has honed his skills in the art of Cantonese cuisine. He has previously served as the head chef at the renowned Bamboo Village Restaurant in Xiamen and the esteemed Grand Hotel in Shenyang.
In 1998, Raymond made the move to Hobart, where he joined the kitchen of the well-established Ming Court Restaurant in Sandy Bay. After years of dedication and perfecting his craft, he eventually took over the business in 2009. Now, Raymond has embarked on a new culinary adventure by establishing MinFu Restaurant, where he continues to showcase his passion for Cantonese-style cooking and provide friendly service to all our valued customers.
