"Overall did not enjoy the food. The chicken teriyaki was awful (tasted off, was pre-cooked and pan fried). The sashimi and chicken dumplings were okay though."

"The food seems to be consistent at Bento regardless of where I go but I have to say the customer service at this outlet sucks. I've visited on several occasions and the response from the server (there's one in particular) is incredibly dry and dismissive. Might pay to give your staff some customer service training."

"I'm used to being spoilt for choice and quality when it comes to Japanese food. We dined in and had miso soup, green tea, and the fried chicken don. The flavours were light and well balanced. The quality was superb. The fact we paid so little for it is a surprise. I heartily recommend this food."

"Decided to get something easy from here on a Sunday evening. Food is a little pricey and ended up getting a gyudon. When I got the food, couldn't believe how small the portion sizes were. It had a few slices of beef and it tasted pretty ordinary. The beef and left over broth had no flavour, even though there were quite a few ingredients you can barely taste anything. Not worth the amount you pay."

"I hardly see my seven-year-old son enjoy food. He is so fastidious. Today we had dinner at Bento on Harrington Street and my son finished a don with eel and chicken dinner box (I can’t remember the exact menu). We also ordered curry, but it was too spicy for him. I had salmon sashimi. It was fresh and couldn’t believe its price (4 pieces for 5 dollars). We will definitely go there again, maybe weekly!"
