With a rich local history dating back to 1855, Murphys is not just a bar and restaurant, but also a significant part of the community. It was the birthplace of the Geelong Cats Football Club and served as a meeting place for important community affairs, earning the title of 'The Original Meeting Place'.

Today, Murphys has been reinvigorated into a contemporary pub, bar, and restaurant. We pride ourselves on our extensive dining menu, featuring delicious dishes paired with a wide selection of wines, tasty cocktails, and over 20 different local and craft beers on tap.

One of the highlights of Murphys is our range of function spaces, live music performances, sports screenings, and entertainment options. We have retained many of the original commodities, quirks, and characteristics that made the old Argyle and Irish Murphy's iconic.
