Welcome to FLT Tattoo Studio, a private and appointment-only establishment located in the vibrant suburb of Hamilton, Mulubinba (Newcastle, NSW). Founded by Eddy-Lou in 2015, FLT Tattoo Studio is a haven for tattoo enthusiasts seeking a unique and personalized experience.
At FLT Tattoo Studio, we proudly acknowledge the Awabakal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, learn, and work. We recognize that this land was stolen, and sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to the Elders, both past and present, and extend this recognition to their descendants. We are committed to honoring the unique cultural and spiritual relationships that the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the land, waters, and seas.
The name FLT stands for Friendship, Love, and Truth, inspired by the motto of the Oddfellows, a friendly society known for promoting philanthropy. While we have no affiliation with this organization, we chose this name as a statement of intent to create an honest, friendly, comfortable, and welcoming environment for both our clients and artists.
FLT Tattoo Studio is dedicated to being an intersectional feminist studio, striving to provide an inclusive and safe space for as many people as possible, particularly women and marginalized groups such as people of color (POC) and LGBTQIA individuals. We warmly welcome everyone who embodies kindness and respect for others.
As a private studio, our artists have the freedom to focus on producing high-quality tattoos while providing excellent customer service in a relaxing atmosphere. Each of our talented artists creates beautiful custom and original pieces in their own unique styles. Our open-plan studio offers privacy screens for those who prefer it. Please note that our current location on the first floor may pose accessibility challenges for individuals with mobility difficulties. However, we are more than happy to make alternative arrangements to accommodate their needs.
