"We came for a function,birthday party..,Was very well presented pub and function room,nice lighting and balcony area.Good finger food too,Up beat and modern.. My only gripes were with the head barman. He talked at me like an angry ex Mrs.. Another issue was they must have run out of schooey glasses early cause I was getting hot glass from just being washed up then cold beer straight in it which was rubbish.. The good was its close to wests for a kick on later and Carlton draughts on tap there."
"We went to watch the Matilda's game on Monday, the pub was very quiet there were only about 20 people in the pub our group was 7 people we were waiting for 1 person to arrive, so we ordered a seafood platter for two, the quality of the seafood was terrible, it was tough and not very fresh. Our guest arrived at 8.15pm and we went to order our dinner at 8.30pm the kitchen closed at 9pm, they said due it being quiet they were closed and would not serve 7 people meals. It was a very disappointing experience."
"We called in for lunch at 2pm today. Best snities ever unreal size,chips were very nice and plentiful. Steak sandwich was the best. And a big thankyou to the guys running the show as my kids dont drink fizzy and let us bring chocolate milk in for our kids. Unreal service best food. Definitely worth the visit."
"Really nice pub with accommodation attached above. Beautifully clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. Very reasonably priced. Downsides are other noisy patrons are easily heard though. My room was lovely but didn't have a mirror which would have been good and perhaps a kettle with tea and coffee. Perhaps a hair dryer too. The shared bathroom had no soap dispenser, so you had to remember to take some. But above all a really nice stay."
