Reviews
"My family and I visited the pub to celebrate a few family members birthdays. It’s a rustic old pub which needs some tlc but the staff and people were friendly and the food great. I had the rissoles and veg although a little too much pepper in the rissoles it was very tasty. Other family members ordered the Snitzel and chips which was great, snitzel was a good size and nicely cooked and presented. My granddaughter ordered the chicken parmigiana which was huge. She enjoyed what she ate, about a third of the snitzel and took the rest home in a ‘doggy bag’. Well worth a visit!"
"Great destination for a lunch or dinner stop. Warm and homey inside, fire going in winter. Service is great, friendly couple! I usually get the burgers, they are unreal! Hand sized with chips you can’t put down until you feel ill haha. Must visit!"
"We had a great stay the pub. Great food, great drinks, a lovely park across the road. We stayed the night and though the rooms are basic the beds were super comfortable and the pub owners were so hospitable."
"Came for dinner and a couple of drinks with friends. Ordered the salt and pepper squid. Delicious and such a great portion size!"
"Such an lovely authentic, rustique place. It just breath the real Australian spirit. The food was simple but the schnitzel I had was an extra large and well cooked. Salad and chips were great! The steak sandwich apparently was also a winner. I didn't try it myself but it came highly recommended. The characters in there are not polished which give the whole place a down to earth feeling. The new owners are wonderful and give a great service. Don't expect anything fancy but it is an old pub pub that has remained his true face. Highly recommend it.great value for money."
