In order to continue providing a wide range of services and procedures for the benefit of our community, we have made some changes to our fee structure, effective from 3rd January 2023. These changes are necessary to offset the increasing costs of running the practice, which are not adequately covered by the Medicare rebate provided to patients. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these financial challenges.

We understand that many individuals are facing economic stressors, and we encourage those experiencing genuine financial hardship to discuss their specific barriers with the doctor in charge of their care. We are committed to finding solutions that accommodate our patients' needs.

Please be aware that certain consultations will incur a gap payment, which is payable on the day of your visit. This does not apply to DVA patients or children aged 16 and below.

Here, you will have the unique luxury of beachside and riverside living while working alongside a supportive team of experienced health professionals. Our practice boasts 14 GPs and full-time nursing support, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance you need to provide exceptional care to our community.

Goolwa Medical Centre has established strong relationships with visiting specialists, pathology services, pharmacies, and cardiology clinics, among others. Additionally, our treatment room is equipped to perform various procedures, including Implanon removal/insertion, iron infusions, ECG, toe wedge resection, punch biopsy, and other minor procedures.

Please note that phone appointments, including script appointments, can only be provided if you have been seen by your doctor at the clinic within the past 12 months. This is to ensure the continuity and quality of care.
