"Disappointed with a recent experience - purchased a pair of Arizona Birkenstocks that I later realised were actually Milanos with the back strap cut off to look almost identical to Arizonas, but of course with damaged structural integrity and different appearance. The box, which I didn't get until I had bought them, had marker on the label botching the sneaky change. I was sold a damaged pair of Milanos for the full Arizona price. They gave me a refund, but I was very disappointed that there was no apology, no explanation of how it happened, no assurance that it will not happen again, and nothing offered to make up for the mistake (and the time I wasted) apart from the refund or replacement pair. Check that your Arizonas are legit if they ever tell you it's their last pair in stock."
