Lellow Kids

"I’ve never been one to write reviews but my experience today at Lellow Kids in Braddon was absolutely horrible. There were two teenage girls behind the counter when i walked in who didn’t greet me, I’ve worked in retail before and understand that it is a socially exhausting job but a hello would of been nice. I said hello anyways. They continued to mumble and laugh, which felt like they were laughing at me. Every time i looked over they would stop and just stare, then continue to laugh. I honestly felt like I was back in High school. I continued to look around for a friends baby shower gift and asked if they have any cute beanies for newborns, they just shrugged their heads and said no not really. I found two little blankets I liked and took the them up to the counter to buy, I asked politely if they could wrap it, they looked quite young so i didn’t expect much but oh my gosh I cannot believe how little effort was put it. The price was left on too I noticed when I wrapped it again myself. They continued just laughing at how poorly they were wrapping it, I felt quite uncomfortable as it seemed I was a joke to them so I just said don’t worry about it, i’ll finish it. I then asked for the receipt and they handed me a scrunched up bit of paper. I didn’t get a goodbye or thankyou either I might add. I would not recommend this shop at all, the customer service is probably some of the worst I have had. I hope whoever owns this shop really is embarrassed of my experience today. I came into spend a substantial amount as i was buying gifts for a few people but just wanted to get out as I felt extremely uncomfortable."
