"This was my second visit to Urban spirit. My first, a few years ago, was great. The recent hair cut I received was undoubtedly the worst I have ever had. The layering was uneven, it was only layered at the back not the front, there was an obvious “step” in my hair which made it look like I had a mullet. I have subsequently had to visit another salon to have this fixed (the new stylist was horrified) so this has become a very expensive ordeal. So disappointed."

"I have been a regular customer at this salon for a few months and have never had any issues. However, my recent visit was disappointing. Despite having a 1.15pm appointment for a wash, blow-dry, and curl on my medium length hair, I had to wait for over 20 minutes. I spoke to one of the other hair stylists to inquire about the delay and mentioned that I had to leave by 2.30pm at the latest for an event that afternoon. The stylist was lovely and spoke to Tina, who was scheduled to do my hair that day. Finally, Tina finished with the client before me and began working on my hair. However, it took over an hour to complete the wash and blow dry, and I did not leave the salon until 3pm. I asked about the delay, and I was told that it was due to curling my hair with the hairdryer and brush. I don’t believe this is the case, as I have had previous hairdressers do the same job in 30 minutes. I was disappointed with my hair as it fell out and the overall job was not worth being late to my event. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at the salon. While I understand that delays can happen, I was frustrated that my appointment took longer than expected, causing me to run late for my event and that I had to spend further time going over my hair as it was not even curled."

"Got a wonderful cut here by Eunice, she really took time to listen to what I wanted. She recommended a treatment for my dry hair which really made a difference and also found the time to add a blow dry even though I’d forgotten to book for that"
