"Had A1 Marks Ceilings repair a crack to our Lounge Ceiling, they did the job including painting.No fuss no mess ,arrived on the right days not always at the time stated but as it was a small job and had to be fitted in between other projects so as far as I am concerned it was no problem .The completed job looks as it did when new.I would recommend this crew to any one who requires any plastering work done. "I've never had to write a bad review before as I hate tarnishing fellow tradesmen's reputation but, unfortunately I feel this one is necessary as I would hate for another hard working couple to be treated the same way we have by Mark. We are in the process of renovating the living room/kitchen and are on a very tight schedule 4 weeks. We obviously needed Gyprock work complete so we enlisted Marks help, he was easy to talk to on the phone came out at 7pm at night to quote us on our work. He was very pleasant, my partner and I very impressed decided not to get another quote form someone else. All was going well until 9 days later we hadn't heard a word from him. Now I work on a defence site 6:30am - 6:30pm (out side of normal working ours) and it's considered a security breach to have my phone on me, so I contcted Mark when I finished work regarding the quote we had not yet received. No answer first 2 times but the 3rd time he pick up, "G'day mark its Jarrah here just wondering if you had finished our quote?" Simple answer to a simple question I thought. He couldn't recall the address which was fine and then went on to explain that he's been in Melbourne the last weeks and will check the paperwork. I had no problem with this and as we were 2 weeks away from needing the work done and had already given Mark 9 days grace to provide a quote, I asked if he knew when the quote would be ready by. Mark then responded with a lot of foul language, telling us to go f***** get some one else to do it, telling me to stop ringing him as its outside of work hours, that he wouldn't want to f****** do the job for us anyway etc. I tried to calm him down and said, mate all I want is a rough time frame to work around, and the abuse started again. He continued to abuse me for a several minutes. No one should be spoken to like that especially when they are your customer. If it's rude of me to make a simple quick phone call asking where he is with the quote, then all of his advertising pages shouldn't say 24/7. Very very unhappy with his service would not recommend to my worst enemy."
