Welcome to Paddock Bakery, a charming establishment located at Burleigh Heads, Hibiscus Haven, 20. Our institution is not just a bakery or a cafe, but a point of interest and a restaurant where people can come together and enjoy delicious food.

The history of Paddock Bakery is truly unique. The building itself is a 70-year-old Queenslander home that was relocated to the Gold Coast in the 1970s. It was one of the few original homes left, and we saw its potential to become something special. Through hard work and dedication, we transformed the broken-down home into the warm and inviting Paddock Bakery.

Our passion for great coffee and mouthwatering doughnuts is evident in every aspect of our establishment. We have spent countless sleepless nights perfecting our menu, ensuring that every item meets the highest standards. At the heart of it all is our wood-fired oven, a symbol of tradition and craftsmanship. Made with antique red bricks from all over Australia and salvaged doors from the first bakery in Tasmania, our oven produces the best wood-fired Sourdough you can find.

When you visit Paddock Bakery, you will find ample seating options in our Cottage, Garden, Rooftop, Loft, and Barn. We welcome dogs on a lead, so you can bring your furry friends along. Our indoor seating areas in the Cottage, Loft, and Barn provide a cozy atmosphere for you to relax and enjoy your meal.

Our Loft, situated among the trees, is a charming space filled with character and heritage. It was originally a 1950s cottage that was lifted to its current position in the treetops. Inside, you will find antiques from around the world, including a stunning 19th Century clock from France.

The Barn, opened in December 2019, is a recent addition to our establishment. It features antique mirrors, easels, and a chest, as well as original Darrell Lea Chocolate Bowls providing unique overhead lighting. Located next to our Cottage, the Barn is a perfect space for group catch-ups and offers a relaxed ambiance.
