Welcome to Mermaid Physie & Dance, a premier dance institution located in Palm Beach, Australia. At Mermaid Physie, we offer a unique dance experience that combines ballet, jazz, contemporary, and acro elements into one exhilarating class. Our students, particularly girls, are absolutely obsessed with physie!

We believe in encouraging strength, flexibility, and fitness while promoting a positive self-image. Our choreography is carefully designed to be age-appropriate, ensuring that every student feels comfortable and confident.

In our physie classes, students have the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. Our innovative choreography is tailored to suit all age groups, from 3 years old to ladies of any age. We take pride in teaching the same syllabus that is used by physie clubs all over Australia, ensuring consistency and quality.

Throughout the year, our students learn a set of routines known as a syllabus, which are continuously built upon as the year progresses. These routines are then performed in a competition environment, both locally and at a national level, alongside other physie clubs. These performances are a highlight for all our girls and ladies, fostering confidence, performance skills, and teamwork.

Established in 2001, Mermaid Physie is a family-friendly club that welcomes members from all walks of life. We currently have over 150 members, ranging from 3-year-olds to ladies aged 60 and beyond. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, we invite you to join our vibrant community and give physie a go!

Our classes are held at Elanora High School on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as Mudgeeraba State School on Saturday mornings. We strive to make physie an affordable dance sport for all ages, with classes starting from just $10.
